My father was my safe place, my biggest supporter, and the one who saw something in me before I ever saw it in myself. Being his favorite daughter wasn’t something I took lightly—it was something I felt in every moment we shared, in the way he protected me, believed in me, and loved me without condition.

Then one day, everything changed.

I lost him…
without the chance of saying goodbye.

That kind of loss doesn’t just break your heart—it changes you. It leaves you searching for pieces of yourself you didn’t even realize were tied to them. For a long time, I felt lost. I didn’t know how to move forward, how to heal, or even who I was without him here.

But grief has a way of quietly reshaping you.

As I continued my healing journey, I kept asking myself a question:

How do I carry someone with me when they’re no longer here?

So I spent years learning how to live with grief. I went to therapy. I visited his grave. I talked to him in moments when I needed guidance, comfort, or simply to feel close to him again.

Over time, I realized I didn’t want his memory to exist only in photographs or special occasions. I wanted something that could become part of my everyday life. Something beautiful. Something meaningful. Something that would remind me that love never truly leaves us.

That’s when the idea for SB By Mimi began.

Because Jewelry has always felt like more than an accessory to me. It’s personal. It’s feminine. It’s beautiful. It’s something we wear close to our hearts and carry with us every day. It becomes part of our stories, our memories, and the moments we never want to forget.

Creating a jewelry brand became my way of keeping his legacy alive .
